As a filmmaker, one of my focuses is on editing. I'm very talented with technology, and I love getting to experiment and create different styles of films and videos with editing software. Tiny Mite (Trailer) - Superhero Comedy Trailer

Edited by Jeronimo Tamez with AVID Media Composer for the film Tiny Mite. In this project, I served as post-production supervisor as part of my director responsibilities, making sure to properly combine picture, sound, color, and visual effects created in After Effects. From the final cut I crated this short trailer while the movie finishes its festival run to go public on YouTube!

ATLA Episode Recap

Edited by Jeronimo Tamez with AVID Media Composer for Assistant Editing Essentials class at SCAD in 2024. For this assignment I had to edit a short episode recap of a TV show, and I used Avatar: The Last Airbender, episode 13 of season 3. Made for educational purposes. Footage and music owned by Nickelodeon.

Anesthesia - Genre Edit (Sitcom)

For this assignment I had to re-edit a short film with the footage provided from the short film "Anesthesia," where I had to change the film's genre. I thought it would be fun to make it a sitcom!

Detroit 187 Scene Edit (Drama)

For this assignment I had to edit a scene from the ABC TV show "Detroit 187" using the provided multi-cam coverage, using AVID's multi-cam tools. All footage and music rights belong to ABC Studios.

Romantic Flight Sound Recreation and Re-dubbing

Edited by Jeronimo Tamez with Pro Tools for a Sound Design class at SCAD in 2024.

For this "How To Train Your Dragon" scene I recreated all of the sound effects and foley, as well as re-dubbing the voice lines. I used the original music only, and the rest of the sounds were sourced from the De Wolfe Sound Library.

Social Media Clips for “De Todo Un Mucho” Podcast

I edited 50 short-form video clips (3-10 minutes) from hour-long podcast episodes, which collectively garnered 767.7k views (as of October 15 2025). I Utilized editing software to enhance audio and video quality, ensure clarity, and maintain consistent branding and tone. I also got to collaborate with the hosts/producers to highlight key moments, identify compelling content, and drive audience engagement.
